The Amazing Winning Secret That Will Help You FInd Success

One of the crucial steps in my 6 secrets to success is imitating and surrounding yourself with successful people. (click the link for more information www.cheerstothegoodlife.com) Now this can be intimidating for some because they look at these winners and tell themselves “I could never be able to talk to him” or “Why would he/she want to talk to me?”

When I was looking for success in my life I told myself the same thing. A lot of people have this perception that successful people are not “human”. They think that they are not approachable, unkind people, stubborn and will probably take advantage of others. I can tell you that for a lot of these people it's not TRUE. I have met some incredibly successful individual that are beyond a doubt wonderful people!

If you are a member of Cheers to the Good Life you can meet these amazing people (check out the link for more information www.cheerstothegoodlife.com) . All I had to do was ask them if they would be willing to help out other success seekers like you, and they said yes! It was that effortless. Most of these people love helping others! That’s the beauty of success. An extremely successful individual said: “The more I help others to succeed, the more I succeed”. That was Ray Kroc, the man who bought McDonalds and turned it into a multi-billion dollar business.

Let’s come back to how you can imitate and surround yourself with successful people. Why don’t I give you an example? Let's say you want to lose some weight so you make a decision to start going to the gym. And to help you out, you make a decision to get a personal trainer.

Now a lot of people would never consider hiring a trainer. If you think about it, even in this scenario, the trainer represents a successful person who has achieved the goal you are looking for (if you chose the right one!). The trainer will tailor your workouts to help you take full advantage of your weight loss and muscle growth. This individual will tell you you exactly what you are doing wrong or right, what you can do to improve and how close you are to reaching your goal. Doesn’t that sound easier than wasting your time all alone in the gym, trying to figure out how all those complicated machines work? n this example, you are in fact “surrounding” yourself with success by seeking the the guidance of your trainer! And you know what? You'll probably "imitate" this individual and use their advice and try to attain your goals better and quicker than if you tried it alone! …

You see, you don’t need to look very far for success. People assume they need Arnold Schwarzenegger as a personal trainer to be successful. And with that reason, they'll never get anywhere! They sit at home complaining and wondering why they can't succeed.

I have spent lots of money attending various events to meet successful people. I try to surround myself with like-minded people because this motivates me (and it will motivate you!). This gives me the "oomph" I need to accomplish my goals. I see those people and I tell myself: “I want to be like him/her”, and by listening to their advice, they are paving my way to the good life! What could be easier?

Now one thing you need to keep in mind is that you can have more than one person you are imitating. And by doing so, you surround yourself with even more success people…

Here are a few people I “look-up” to:

Real estate: Nick and Tom Karadza:     http://www.therealestaterenegades.com/

Marketing: Dan Kennedy:                                 http://dankennedy.com/

Book-Marketing: Peggy McColl:                      www.destinies.com

“Life Style”: Tim Ferris                          http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/

I try to expand this list all the time!

When I was young my mother used to say: “Tell me who you hang-out with and I’ll tell you who you are”. I didn't know what she meant at the time but now I realize that it is very true. Particularly when you are on your road to success!
