Be yourself

Being yourself with and not pretending is the easiest and the most important of all the self esteem boosters. Trying to act like somebody that you are not disables you from expressing what you want to express. Thus, it makes you uneasy. Love yourself for who you are and show it to everyone. Start with self acceptance and other people will also take you exactly as you are. If people like you even if you do not make much effort, now that is a self esteem booster.

Give yourself a treat

As much as you want, as much as possible, treat yourself with luxuries that is within your reach. Have any form of relaxation. It will not just take away your stress. It could also eliminate all the bad vibes that you feel. By this, you would forget your insecurities and self esteem issues. Then you will realize how happy and good life is and that you do not have to worry that much. Being happy and generally feeling good is the basic step to boost your self esteem.

Face your problems

Always remember that running away from your problems is never helpful. Problems are given to you for you to face. Be courageous enough to take hardships. Only through this way you can learn to be strong. Since low self esteem is caused by one’s weakness, we should find ways to be stronger that what we currently are.

For men, this is the first step on how to attract beautiful women. For girls, this is how you can attract men. Being loved or liked by someone is one big self esteem booster.

Be surrounded by loved ones

A positive environment is also a self esteem booster. If you are surrounded by people who gives you love, you will definitely be secured. If you always feel important you will not feel insecured. Eventually, you’ll learn to instill in your mind that there are actually people who treasure you.

Embrace your imperfection

You may have heard this a million times but it still applies, “nobody is perfect”, so live with that. Accept the fact that you are only human, created to commit errors. Anybody who demands and expects perfection from you is a fool. Just always remember to do your best in everything that you do and if you fail, then it wasn’t meant for you. Contentment and acceptance is one key booster of self esteem.

Think of good thoughts

Although it is hard to neglect what bothers us, try as much as you can to focus more on the positive side of your life. When insecurities are eating you whole, remember the last time you laughed hard. It may sound cheesy, but it works. It would open your mind that life has always been fair and that happiness is also for you.

Be physically fit

All parts of our system that consists of our heart, mind and body will always be related and connected to each other. If you are physically fit, you will think better, thus, allowing you to do better thinking. After all, self esteem is all in the mind.

Do something useful

Do something that has a good purpose. Instead of feeling blue because of your insecurities, do something that can be progressive. This can make your mind be occupied by something else, plus, you are doing something that can benefit you or other people. Through this, you will come to realize that you have the capacity to do useful things.

Self esteem boosters actually begin from us. Boosters of self esteem are not coming from other people. This means that we are the first people that can help us. All we have to do is consider some help in personal and spiritual growth. Also, this implies that low self esteem is all in the mind, so strength, acceptance and faith in ourselves are a must.
