Worry is your enemy – no alternative method to describe it.  I’m not talking regarding that natural life preserving action along with a major boost of adrenalin that happens if a wild animal is coming at you.  I’m talking concerning the fears folks live with day in and day out.

Worry is your enemy.  Someone once described concern as, “Sand within the machinery of life.”  Worry doesn’t facilitate your, it hinders you.  Concern doesn’t get you through an open door; it keeps you in the hallway.  Fear never helps you set your best foot forward; it just keeps each of your feet in cement.

The psychology of these days is, “Learn to measure along with your fears”, “Embrace your fears”, “It’s traditional to own fears – everyone does.”

It’s true; heaps of folks do have fears. And there are people who are making an attempt to learn how to live with their fears, and embrace them.

But if it’s “traditional” to possess fears, then why would the Bible speak regarding being delivered from all of your fears?

Suppose about it – if it’s normal to own fears, and you had no fears, then you would be abnormal, right?  Well why would God want you to be abnormal?

He doesn’t.  He actually needs for you to be unfettered from all your fears.

There are various aspects and aspects of fear.  One of the big ones is having concern of what others suppose of you.  Folks do things, say things, and even buy things as a result of of the worry that they have of what others think.

Several times individuals be part of clubs or organizations as a result of they are afraid that if they don’t, others might think badly of them.

People say things and talk a sure way as a result of they’re afraid that they could not say the right factor in front of the right people.

Folks purchase things as a result of of concern not measuring up to those around them.  And on and on it goes.

You don’t have to live with fear.  Here are 3 straightforward keys to obtaining rid of fear.

First, start by realizing that God really loves you and that His love for you is unconditional.  The Bible teaches that nothing will separate you from His love. Nothing.  His love for you will not change, ever!

Second, ask God to assist {you to get} rid of all your fears.  He has promised to deliver you from all your fears.  That’s His want for you – a life while not fear.

Third, make selections primarily based on what is best for you, not how it could or might not seem to others.  You’ll never, ever be able to please everyone, so stop attempting to.  You’ll never, ever be right in everyone’s eyes, so stop trying to.

When you create a call, ask yourself, “Why am I making this decision?  Is it based on worry?”  Create selections primarily based on what is right and best for your life, irrespective of what others think.

You can live without fear.

We tend to can be longing a step by step procedure, exploring your feelings and choices, and by the tip of this text, you must have a reasonably solid tool you’ll immediately use in your life, to provide it a meaningful direction.

There are three steps to the process of discovering the aim of your life:

Understanding the principle of selection
Making your underlying principle
Aligning your life with the underlying principle

Understanding the principle of selection

Norman Vincent Peale has this to say concerning the power of choice. “The greatest power we tend to have is the facility of choice. It is an actual truth, that if you have been groping below unhappiness, you’ll select to be joyous, instead. And, by effort, raise yourself into joy. If you are fearful, you’ll overcome that misery by selecting to own courage. The full trend and the quality of anyone’s life is set by the choice that are created”.

Selecting is the most necessary activity of your mind, because by creating a choice, you’re proclaiming your desires to your subconscious mind. Once the subconscious mind get to understand your needs, it’s going to try to to something to manifest them in your life. The alternatives you create in your life become your goal. If You Can Dream It, You Can Build It

When I founded MotivationToMove.com, I did it largely based on the simple concept that when we control of our thoughts, we not only change our body, we change our entire life!

As a guy who lives in Orlando, I spend a lot of time at Disney World, where one of my favorite Walt Disney quotes, “If you can dream it, you can build it”, is played out in living color.  What a dreamer; what a builder!

Still, if you have ever wanted something different in your life, have you noticed your mind doesn’t always get the memo?

What’s going on has everything to do with your Mindset – because no matter what you might be thinking – you are thinking something.

Your Mindset is simply the sum total of all your beliefs, values, identity, expectations, attitudes, habits, decisions, opinions, and thought patterns about yourself, others, and how life works.

Can you see the beginnings of a problem?

For all of us, our Mindsets are handed down from our families, society, religious authorities, and teachers, and we live them automatically.  The good news is, we can change our thoughts and Mindsets to attract more of whatever it is we want.

To do that, we only need to recognize that your Mindset is composed of body, conscious mind, and unconscious mind – with the conscious mind giving the order, and the unconscious mind carrying it though the body.  To change to a new Mindset and choose a new life path is as simple as creating a clear mental picture of your new Mindset.

I know, you’ve heard that before… but here’s how to make it work.

Once you have the clear picture of what you want, give 100% of your attention and energy to your new thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs.  Always be thinking about your new Mindset – every minute of every single day.  And I mean always!

When you focus your thoughts on what you want, the old Mindset will slowly wither and die, replaced by exactly what you are thinking – so make sure you are thinking about what you really want in our life!

Effectively Conquer All Obstacles With These 4 Tips

August 10, 2009 by

Everyone faces their own set of challenges each day, and overcoming these obstacles is part and parcel of personal growth. Occasionally, we fail. But, we just don't realize how often we do win. We just don't realize how persevering and how strong the human spirit really is. So when we are faced with a challenge, we are suddenly overcome by self-doubt, reflection of failures, frustration and immobility. Here are 4 tips to help you deal with the immense negative energy we often associate with challenges

1. Fear is merely an anticipation.

It never really is as bad as you think they are. Take immediate action and face those fears. Start with the smaller ones since resolving and facing them can give you a sense of achievement which will provide you with the courage to face the larger ones.

2. The present is a gift.

Personal growth is about looking forward and moving into the future. The past is a closed door and time is a one-way route. It doesn't hurt to look back on fond memories, but do turn a blind eye to the nasty ones. In place of that, appreciate and learn from your past while you celebrate your future. It’s going to happen with or without you.

3. Let your hair down

There are things you can control, and even more things you can’t. It’s futile to stress yourself out over the need to control a situation. Life, like time, is a one-way route and it doesn’t wait for you to control a situation before it gets up and going. So have fun, and don't take things (especially yourself) too seriously. Few people enjoy the company of the gloomy, stiff and negative. So loosen up, enjoy yourself and laugh your hearts out.

4. Be firm.
Most people often find themselves in situations where they feel cornered and forced to select an option they would not otherwise choose. You have to be assertive about expressing your feelings, opinions and needs without compromising the rights of others. Always remember that it is your right to express your feelings and opinions… and that it is others' right to accept or reject them. Saying "No" to arbitrary requests is the first step to building your confidence. Not only does it save us the hassle of complying in silence, but it also prevents negative feelings of isolation, frustration and accusation.

Self esteem and confidence are crucial components in the personal growth of every individual. These 4 tips will help you rapidly build your confidence so practice and be constantly aware!

Motivating Words Of Wisdom

August 5, 2009 by

Motivation is a key to living a good life.  With motivation, we can take on difficult tasks and get things done.  Without motivation, we can be doomed to a life full of abandoned projects and unfulfilled dreams.  You can get more Self Development Insights here.

The more we understand about motivation, the better off we will be in life.  If we want to start exercising to keep in shape, or give up smoking for better health, motivation is a key factor in our success or failure.

There are only two kinds of motivation when you get right down to it.  Only two ways to motivate yourself that make a difference.  Positive and negative.

We all know about negative motivation.  If you don’t take out the trash, it will start to smell.  So we take out the trash to avoid the negative consequence of a smelly house.  If we don’t go to work we’ll lose our job, and then we can’t pay the rent and then we are homeless.  The negative consequences motivate us to go to work. You can learn some more Words of Wisdom here.

That is negative motivation.  We were raised with it.  It is the threat of something bad happening to us that gets us to act.  There is nothing wrong with negative motivation.  It can help us give up smoking. Picturing clearly the lung damage we get from every cigarette can negatively motivate us to curb our intake.  However, negative motivation is de-energizing.  Sure, we’ll go to work, but we’ll drag ourselves in and be miserable.

Positive motivation, on the other hand, is very energizing.  Normally you may not like getting up at 5AM.  You may grumble and moan all the way to work.  But if you are getting up at 4AM one day to catch a flight to Hawaii, you may literally hop out of bed singing a happy tune.  The positive result of being in Hawaii motivates you with enthusiasm and excitement.  Positive motivation is a great way to do things with with zest and energy.

The thing is, you can start to practice being positively motivated as much as you want in life.  Just think of the positive result you are after from an exercise program for a few minutes.  Then see if that doesn’t start filling you with the desire to get started.

Taking action is the key.  You can take negative action, grumbling and groaning all the way, or positive action, with a spring in your step.  It’s up to you.  Try more positive motivation, focusing on the good outcome or fun parts of any task, and see if it doesn’t help you take more positive action.  You can get more Wise Thoughts here.

Personal Growth Miracles

July 24, 2009 by

I would say I’ve reached adulthood, matured, have reached the peak of my physical height. I’ve graduated university, have a steady job, and I think even my hair has grown long enough. Sounds like I’m all grown-up!

Except for one thing. What about my personal growth? If I had to compare it to human years, I think it’d still be a teenager. Okay, maybe a preteen.

Personal growth conjures up so many images. I know for me, my first thought was of a fat guy eating ice cream in the self-help section. I know, it’s a bit exaggerated but you get the point. The stigma surrounding personal development hasn’t always been the best.

But like many stereotypes, the reputation of personal growth has been a false one.  It definitely has been for me. So how does a business school graduate go from a greedy money grubbing diva to a personal development junkie?

Well after working a crappy job at an oil company I realized I did not want to spend the rest of my life doing this. And for what? Money? Yes…

But what was that money going to get me? I thought about it for a while and it occurred to me that I have no idea what I would do with that money or what I wanted in life.

So, doing a complete 180, I said screw this, I’m not going to be miserable sitting on a pile of cash anymore. I left the world of finance and moved from comfortable Canada to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I had no idea what I would be doing, but as luck or fate would have it, I ended up working at a company in the personal growth field.

Talk about irony. But it was just what I needed. I went through a personal growth spurt immediately. I discovered some great minds like Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Dale Carnegie, and Deepak Chopra.

In essence, I learnt how to grow personally, spiritually, and emotionally, which unfortunately is not something they like to teach at school. Up until my big move overseas, all my answers to life, what I wanted, who I was, and where I wanted to be were so feeble and flimsy.

Now I see life differently. I’ve reevaluated my goals and who I want to be. Instead of focusing on X amount of money, I focus on what I want and how am I going to get it. Back in university, I used to dream of lying in the sun, sipping on ice tea, while reading a book by the pool. And my only path to that dream was to get a good job, make lots of money, then retire. But in doing that I lost sight of what I truly wanted. Since my dream was to lie in the sun, I realized I already accomplished that by moving to Malaysia. I didn’t need the money and I sure as hell didn’t need to retire. I’m lying by the pool and I still look good in a bikini.

While I’m by no means even close to hitting enlightenment or anything like that, I’m a little closer to it than I was a few years back.

The beauty of personal growth is that you don’t have to spend a lot of money or do something drastic like fly halfway round the world. It starts with you, your attitude, and your willingness to open yourself up to countless opportunities and ideas.  Words on a page mean nothing unless you unlock your mind and let yourself be just a little bit vulnerable.
