The Impact of Abusive and Heavy Drinking on Relationships and the Inspiration Needed to Get Alcohol Rehabilitation and Discover More Happiness, Self Esteem, and a More Positive Attitude

One of the alcohol abuse facts that somehow, someway escapes many people’s consciousness is that hazardous and irresponsible drinking habitually negatively affects relationships. Stated more forcefully, to a fairly great degree, abusive and irresponsible drinking is to relationships what drug addiction is to an individual’s health or what faulty brakes are to the safety of the driver of a vehicle. In all of these cases, the outcome is regularly a catastrophe.

When the association between abusive and irresponsible drinking and relationships is researched more closely, on the other hand, there are some logical reasons why careless and hazardous drinking and relationships don’t go together in a healthy or beneficial way.

Hazardous Drinking Diminishes a Person’s Inhibitions

First, unhealthy drinking lessens a person’s inhibitions. This routinely means that a person who has been drinking has less control over what he or she says and does. The bottom line is that individuals in a relationship who have been drinking are much more likely to engage in hurtful and heated verbal abuse and/or violence that may well not have taken place if neither person was drinking.

Heavy and Excessive Drinking Adversely Affects an Individual’s Problem Solving, Decision-Making, and Reasoning Skills and Abilities

Second, unhealthy drinking adversely influences an individual’s reasoning, problem solving, and decision-making abilities. Indeed, if a person employs deficient decision-making, reasoning, and problem solving abilities, this normally negatively impacts the options a person makes as well as her or his actions. Such a condition, it’s declared, is an accident waiting to happen when relationships are concerned because of the large number of decisions and troubles that need to be focused upon on a regular basis.

Irresponsible and Hazardous Drinking Normally Affects the Drinker’s Finances in a Harmful Manner

Third, abusive and hazardous drinking usually affects the drinker’s finances in an extremely adverse manner. In the end, whether an individual buys his or her alcohol at a watering hole, restaurant, sports event, liquor store, or drinks at home, hazardous and irresponsible drinking is not cheap. And if money is spent on drinking rather than on credit card bills, the mortgage, utilities, the rent, food, car or truck payments, and so on, huge issues in a relationship are more likely than not right around the corner.

Hazardous and Abusive Drinking Regularly Reveals Itself at a Person’s Place of Employment

Fourth, careless and excessive drinking typically reveals itself at an individual’s place of employment. To the degree that this occurs, one’s capability to make a living is seriously placed in a risky position and this, in turn, adversely affects an individual’s relationships.

Excessive and Abusive Drinking Generally Results in Complications With the Law

Finally, irresponsible and unhealthy drinking typically results in troubles with the law. Unmistakably one or more DUIs, as an example, can’t do anything but hurt a relationship from a financial and from an emotional perspective.

You Need Motivation and Inspiration to Get Alcohol Treatment So You Can Stop Your Heavy and Hazardous Drinking And Find More Self Esteem, Happiness, and a More Positive Attitude

So what is the message to be taken away from this discussion? First, if you want to have solid, treasured relationships in your life, stay away from unhealthy and excessive drinking. Second, if you are a drinker and you are in a relationship, if you want to keep this relationship or maybe make it stronger, then make sure you always drink in moderation or not at all. And third, if you have alcohol problems that are negatively affecting your relationship, please seek more alcohol information and consider getting alcohol therapy.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it can be seen that unhealthy drinking adversely has an effect on a person’s relationships mainly because it lowers a person’s inhibitions and leads to insensitive and mean verbal abuse and/or cruel behavior.

It can also be determined that irresponsible drinking negatively impacts a person’s decision-making, reasoning, and problem solving abilities, as a consequence leading to poor options and behavior.

In a very related way, careless and hazardous drinking usually negatively impacts the drinker’s finances, consequently affecting the money management ability of the individuals who are involved in the relationship. Furthermore, excessive and hazardous drinking normally negatively affects a relationship mainly because of alcohol-related work issues.

And finally, excessive and irresponsible drinking usually contributes to alcohol associated problems with the law such as DWIs, jail time, and fines and penalties. Visibly, such legal difficulties negatively affect most dear relationships.

How To Gain Confidence

So what were the reasons behind my own low confidence? Well there were 5 reasons. I had developed a stutter when I was aged just four and despite a great deal of speech and language therapy it was still a major problem for me. I was desperate, for some unknown reason, to be liked and was basically paranoid about what other people thought of me. Height wise I am quite a lot shorter than the average man at just 5ft 4 and I also have a small patch, the size of ten pence piece, on my scalp where no hair grows. I was also over-weight.

At the age of twenty-two I decided to go on a journey of self-improvement. I had just lost my job at the flyer printing company where I worked and had had enough of living life in the way that I had been and I therefore wanted to learn about the ways in which I could become a far more confident person, a fluent speaker and I wanted to attain a weight that I was happy with.

The solution to the weight loss was in a way quite easy to find. I was over-weight due to a lack of exercise and because I ate far too much, along with the fact that I was eating the wrong types of food.

Stuttering is a complex impediment but was something I was determined to overcome. It was far from easy to eradicate the stutter however eradicate it I did after about twelve months of working extremely hard.

I unfortunately had to accept my lack of height and also the fact that I would have a bald patch on my head for the rest of my life as there was nothing that I could do to change them.

The wanting to be liked and my paranoid ways was something that could be changed. I had to learn how to become a far more care-free person and to accept that not everyone will like me. I had to become a positive thinker and to ignore the negative voices in my head.

I have now mastered all of these areas and life has never been so good; my new found confidence has helped me in my new career as a pet insurance clerk.

I wish you every success in your quest to find happiness.

Have you ever noticed how important music is? The actual notes, combined with the lyrics can be so touching and so uplifting or bring on a whole bunch of other emotions. All kinds of music can connect with all kinds of people, and in some cases making them extremely happy.

The one fantastic thing that comes with music is that it’s free, unless you’re purchasing CDs, and the like. But, the reality is that all that is required is nothing but a small radio. You just have to find the radio station that suits you and your taste, and it can really have a great impact on your life.

Playing musical instruments is also a great way to feel good, not to mention give you a sense of accomplishment. Certainly, there are a ton of instruments that you can choose from, so it won’t be hard. Of course, sometimes budget gets in the way, especially if you wanted to play the piano. It is out of some people’s leagues.

But for something that is more affordable and easily transported, you can choose an Alvarez acoustic guitar. There are many ways that you can learn to play, as well. You don’t have to go with private lessons which can be quite expensive. Instead, you can choose online courses, and the like.

No matter where you are or what you’re doing, you could always have music around you. This is true even when you are asleep. It can help to give you a more comfortable sleep, especially if you live in an apartment or on a busy street which can constantly have you awaken in the middle of the night. Or, when you’re exercising, even your personal trainer will recommend listening to music that motivates and moves you. Everyone knows that a good song can give you a great boost, helping you to move faster and even accomplish things, even your exercise routine.

So, when you really think about it, your favorite music can be very motivational and therapeutic in many ways. It is a shame that many take it for granted and don’t give it the credit it deserves. Moreover, people simply neglect to bring it into their lives, for some reason.

Driving in your car, on the way to the mall to get women’s brown boots is also another place to listen to your favorite band or artist, either on the radio or on a CD. Regardless of where you are and what you do, any time of day, it is there to keep you going.

The Power of Positive Thinking

April 3, 2010 by admin

Welcome to the bridge of Manifest life. Don’ t let any situation take the control. You are the second master of the game, under the universe master law, what you think is what you get. Can that be possible? Yes it can be, you got to be in a manifesting state, your mind, your body is one, not two. The flow of energy that is rotating in the universe can break you if you are not going in the right direction. You must follow the law of the universe, and be happy. Do not worry about what is happening, but accept it and act toward a positive trend if it can be done, but never stay without acting when the bad situation, the non lucky time frame is falling on you, this is definitivly a law of the universe, and it will happen again and again, you got to do something, but the thing that will put you on the right track… You must understand that; be careful, the universe can’ t be redirected, rather you should follow the same direction, and profit from the tremendous flow of vital energy coming from the six directions.

Good force are there, but you must know how to avoid the bad forces. Although the positive forces are stronger, it is easy to fall in the wrong wave, and quite difficult to focus and stay on the right way. So how can you be positive all the time, you think: nobody can do that. No, lots of people do it, what is the difference between them? Two kind of people: The sleeping, and the awake. It is not the real sleep here, you should understand what the sleeper is: in fact, he is awake like everybody, so why is he a sleeper? Just look around you, and try to find out: is that man awake or he is a sleeper? Do that exercise, and you will be astonished with the results, you will be able to feel people, to feel the energy, like you feel the wind touch on your skin.

Depression – How I Overcame It

November 7, 2009 by admin

I have had many periods in my own life when I have been downright miserable and unhappy. The stress of everyday life has taken its toll and I have struggled to see any light at the end of the tunnel.

Before I continue on with this article I would like to point out that I am not involved within the depression industry or sector, I personally work within business cost cutting, as well as offering various stammering treatments and on a part basis as a professional manual article submission service.

Over the last few months I have worked extremely hard to find solutions to eradicate my issues with depression. I am now much more able to cope with these type of situations. I still do find myself becoming down but now have various techniques and methods to help me to quickly return to happiness.

The first thing I do when I start to feel a bit down or unhappy is to write a list of all the things that are making me feel this way. Instead of doing what I used to do, which was to stress so much about each of them, which only makes each problem even bigger, I now look at each item on the list and try to find a solution.

This is not that easy to do but is essential in combating the demons in my mind which are trying to make me think in a negative way. Some of the items on the list are hard to find solutions for. I then try to tell myself that worrying is not the answer and that all I can do is to give it my best shot to improve the situation. At the end of the day what is the worst thing that can happen?

I have realised that I seem to get down and depressed when I am over tired. Now when I feel over-tired, I ensure that I go to bed a lot earlier than normal over the next few days and try to avoid drinks like coffee, late at night, which can keep me awake. To help me to sleep I always read a book which not only tires my eyes but also helps to take my mind off the things that I am worried about. I have also been known to have a small snooze in the afternoons to help me to catch up on any lost sleep.

I feel fortunate to have two young children. They seem to be full of life and do not seem to have a care in the world. Both children have totally changed my life in a positive way and are a bundle of fun and joy. When starting to feel a bit down and depressed, I spend as much time as I can with my children as they are what makes me happy and smile. I can soon forget my troubles and it also makes me appreciate what I have in life.

I deserve the best
I love myself;
I love the world:
it is good
it is right

it is right to love
for love is pure and nurturing
if it is good to love
it is good to start with oneself

it is good to love oneself
for one who
cannot love oneself
cannot truly love another

loving oneself
one finds calm,
peace and quiet;
from love flows
positive thinking, natural and smooth

love moves one
to completeness —
to all good things
one needs in life:
love yourself.

I love myself;
I love the world:
it is good
it is right
