If Only There Was A GPS For Life! Or Is There?

Have you ever wasted months or even years following a road that led to nowhere or worse, led you to a place where you were worse off than before? I have, in fact if the truth be known, more than once! However  I am learning. The school of hard knocks comes with a very high price tag. I am hoping that some of what I have learned and seen will lower that price tag for you so you can avoid some of the roads I have found are dead ends.

I have a very dear friend, who a year ago, set off on a path that I knew was not going to be good for her. Her goal was noble, but her road was one that was filled with potholes and S curves. It looked all glamourous and filled with all that life had to offer, but because of  my own experiences I knew where it led. Today her life is in shambles with no home, no job, and no money, She has lost multiple friends and the respect of many of her peers. I just find it sad.

How did I know before she started that it was the wrong road? Well not because I am a genius or a prophet, but because of a couple of simple lessons I will share with you.

1. Does the road lead you to put spiritual things first? Jesus said 2 very important things. A. Seek first the kingdom of God and all these “things” will be added to you”. That means that as you profit spiritually, the rest of life’s needs will come into place.

2. Does the road you are taking cause you to compromise spiritually? He said, “What if you gain the world and lose your soul?” Is what you are doing compromising who you are as a spiritual person, does it violate your values, or cause you to take shortcuts that are ethically questionable?

In both of these situations, my friend ignored my warnings. She put a glamor job above her spirituality and now has paid the price for it.

Is there a GPS for our lives? You betcha! It is having a personal relationship with the One who sees the future. It is developing your spiritual life so that He can give you the warnings  and you can hear the warnings about dead ends and pot holes on a dangerous road.

You see, you do not need psychics or fortune tellers to know the future. God already knows and He cares enough about you to tell you. In my blog I have over 80 articles to help you know and understand how to have the type of relationship with God that allows Him to be your GPS for life. I hope you come and visit.

Practical Uses Of Intuition

Intuition and subjective knowledge is not just for psychics and remote viewers. The truth is, following your intuition will have many positive benefits in your day to day life.

It's easy, making good decisions leads to happiness, success and fulfillment. Poor decisions can make you unhappy and regretful. This holds true from the smallest decision, from choosing what to wear one day, to the big life decisions, like who to marry.

The more you follow your gut feelings, you will develop a strong sense of being and believing in yourself, which will boost your confidence. You spend less time worrying about the what ifs and avoid being paralyzed by choices. You will also avoid the feeling of regret and replaying ‘what if’ scenarios over and over in your head.

Intuition is very useful in business. You can use your intuition for hiring, firing and deciding new business partners and ventures. Many CEO’s most successful moves and strategies seem to follow no logical or rationale, but come from this place of ‘knowing’. While many CEO’s and powerful business people will not openly admit it, most claim that a large part of their success comes from listening to their intuition.

Many people who trade in the stock market or work in risky business rely strongly on their intuition. When something feels ‘right’ they know when to invest, hold or sell. There are many decisions that occur in a high pressure sphere which cannot wait until you have all the information.

You can also use intuition in everyday relationships. Would’nt it be great to know instantly if you can trust someone or if you believe someone? When you meet someone new, instantly you can tell if this is a person you can develop a deep bond with or not. There is always the story of the bride or groom who is left at the alter on their wedding day. These incidents would never happen if those people had been true to their feelings and themselves.

On a lighter side, intuition helps you with directions, finding your keys, parking spaces and being in the right place at the right time. All which could seem like coincidences, but when you think about the last time things just ‘worked’ out for you, was there a certain feeling you had?

When you do have a intuitive experience, no matter how big or how small, its imperative to lock into that feeling. This way you can access and develop your subjective senses and strengthen your intuitive self.
