What psychological technique can inspire self-motivation?

The usual most-motivating motivating factors are absent. There exists:
* No friends to be helped
* No observers to be impressed
* No sense of aiming for a goal that is meaningful and lasting.

What technique might invigorate great motivation to make things happen?

Imagine that you will be shot if you don’t do the thing to be done. Really try to believe it. Or try to have blind faith that supermodels will do the bouncey thing if you do the thing that has to be achieved.

    Think about what it is that you want your life to look like. Maybe its a career, love, friends, or even something you could see yourself getting interested in.. and try to intrinsically motivate yourself. If there is no one around you that is motivating you, maybe that’s an issue you want to change. Want = motivation

    the friends, observers are irrelevant motivation has to come from you. Look at your job is this something your satisfied with, Your level of education do you feel its adequate enough for what you want to do. try to picture your self 5 years from now do you see your self in the same situations your in now take it a step further how do you picture your retirement being will you be able to survive off of what you have now or will it require more money more investing. look at your home are you still with your parents would you want to move on your own house wise can you do this on your present salary. Are you lonely, want kids. look at your life try to Envision it 10, 20 years from now where will you be and are you satisfied with that if not get to work.
