How does the movie "Cinderella Man" show things like self-respect and self-motivation?
I am supposed to write an essay on this movie for class and I need to show how each of these things happen in the movie. Thanks!
- Accepting Personal Responsibiltiy
- Discovering Self-motivation
- Employing Interdependance
- Gaining Self-Awareness
- Developing Emotional Intelligence
he puts hisself threw alot of struggle and alot of work just so he can suport his family and he still tries to fight and win so he can help his family out even tho he was injured
he doesnt give up and keeps trying nomatter what it takes

The character accepts personal responsibility when he does a fight and then breaks his hand, he realizes that he has to go and work no matter what to provide for his family. Discovering self-motivation when he makes the promise to his son that he will not send him away to relatives because he can’t support them. Employing Interdependence when he goes when he realizes that there is nothing left and he must get his kids back so he goes to the boxing bosses and asks for a handout. Gaining Self-Awareness is when he is fighting he realizes what he is fighting for, milk for his kids, a loaf of bread, a piece of meat, electricity, water….necessities in life and his family’s needs. Developing Emotional Intelligence is when he realizes that what he is doing is not only affecting his life but the lives of everyone, he is giving hope to a nation, that is down and out. He is indeed their "Cinderella Man"
hope this put you in the right direction!
