"no excuses" by alice in chains has one particular line that really resonates with me. it makes me think of all of my friends who have stuck by me no matter what.

Actually, several on the "River Songs" disc would fit the bill. The last one "I liked you better when you hated yourself" might just make her laugh enough to smile.
