What is Tyranny, and are we almost there?

This is one of the best definitions of Tyranny I have found. What do you think, and are we there yet?

TYRANNY
(1) a government wherein the RIGHTS and Liberties of the people are violated at will by those in power, and where the people possess no effective remedy to hold the transgressors accountable.
(2) a government in which the common-law of the people either has never existed, or has been replaced with the de facto policies, or the self empowering edicts, of officials that as a matter of course, authorize the violation of human RIGHTS, and, wherein procedural or "legal" ramparts are effectively constructed to prevent the accountability of government ministers, and their puppet judges and agents.

NOTE A: Excessive taxation is categorized as economic slavery and is included within violations of human RIGHTS. See: UCL, [Swindling]
NOTE B: Socialism (organized criminal rapacity) is invariably marketed as Neo-Liberal Capitalism, and/or Democracy. These, and socialism’s more extreme expressions (“Fascism” and “Communism”) are typically presented as beneficial and necessary politico-economic ideologies. In fact, these pseudo-ideologies are mere vehicles of propaganda which serve to transport and mask the self serving avarice of a criminal elite which operates at the expense of the people. Compare: REPUBLIC
NOTE C: “Religious” tyrannies substitute “sacred” scriptures (and state enforced deference thereto) in place of the more standard political or economic considerations. Raw power exists, and if not enjoyed, is unhappily exercised (Ref: Torquemada and his contemporary decendents). While moral authority is invariably claimed, the morality is parochial in the depth of its analysis. See: ECLENSIA
NOTE D: All tyrannies are classified under the common-law, and the law of pre-eminent domain, as criminal. Ministers of all governments are subject by unalienable RIGHT, to reciprocal jurisdiction. Ministers of tyrannies exist in a state of war with their subjects, and are therefore subject to direct, immediate, and if necessary, terminal intervention.

The Three Distinct Forms of Tyranny

(I) DESPOTISM: Dictatorial national power is concentrated in a single autocrat. This despot (premier) and his collusionists are above the law and are unaccountable. The peoples’ RIGHTS are arbitrarily violated. Types and amounts of taxation are without limit.

NOTE: Despotisms are more common to nations with non-existent or autocratically controlled electronic communications.
CLASSIC EXAMPLE: Adolph Hitler (The Third Reich / Germany); propaganda front: National Socialism (NAZI) Party until it was crushed by Allied forces in 1945.
ABATEMENT: Despots are typically contained by assassination, coup, putsch, or foreign military intervention.

(II) OLIGARCHY: Dictatorial national power is concentrated in a unicameral inner faction of autocrats, i.e., a central ministry. Typically a premier (who may incorrectly be referred to as a president) is at the helm. Oligarchies are limited in size by the ability of the inner faction to assemble in one common hall wherein negotiations (conspiracy) take place. Most oligarchs know one another. The inner faction of conspirators and the premier, as well as their collusionists are above the law and are unaccountable. The peoples’ RIGHTS are arbitrarily violated. Types and amounts of taxation are without limit.

NOTE: Oligarchies are more common to nations with limited or sharply regulated—and surveiled—electronic communications.
CLASSIC EXAMPLE: The Communist politburo (The Union of Soviet Socialist “Republics” / Russia); propaganda front: Communism (unicameral central ministry), from Nikita Khrushchev until financial and political collapse and partial fragmentation in 1991. (Prior to Khrushchev, Russia had a despotic government.)
ABATEMENT: Oligarchies are typically contained by the internal jealousies and traditional methods of despotic abatement, as well as the inability of a stifling management to effectively compete internationally, and/or by electronic communications which aid the people in combating organized criminals.

(III) EDICTOCRACY: (Summary definition, see also expanded definition in ALLIANCE)
(1) a dictacratic regime overgrown and pervasive beyond measure; a legislative dictatorship.
(2) Dictatorial national power is concentrated in an exceedingly large central ministry, with innumerable decentralized franchise (territory, province, state, county) ministries. Typically a premier (who may incorrectly be referred to as a president) is at the helm. The premier, his conspirators, and their collusionists are, for all intents and purposes, unaccountable. The peoples’ RIGHTS are converted into privileges, and are dictatorially micro-regulated by a plethora of rule making and enforcement agencies. Some inalienable RIGHTS, for example the RIGHT to work, or repair your home, are sold back (taxed) as (busi

We almost had tyranny – luckily Obama became President and that danger is gone.

I think she said tyranny in government, not in the parties and yes there is tyranny and we are there and both parties are the problem.

Tyranny is when the government doesn’t listen to a majority of the people. Tyranny came to an end on January 20, 2009. The majority’s wishes are now being carried out.

Tyranny in America has been flourishing since FDR ushered in his big government policies (although it primarily started under Woodrow Wilson), and we have been slipping ever since. A small let up under Reagan, but then right back to it with Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr., and now ten fold under the pseudo Marxist Obama. The majority of both parties are big government loving tyrants hell bent on raping the Constitution and eroding our liberties.

Our only salvation is in the libertarian party or libertarian like republicans (i.e. Ron Paul). The rest will just continue to erode our individual liberties for collectivism.

Hi, Good definitions and research! I don’t think we are quite ‘there’ yet. However, I think in a fairly short time we Will be There.

I have several friends that were very strong Obama supporters and voted for him. They are all massively disappointed and the health care plan frightens them. So maybe there is some hope still.

I do believe the economy is like a huge ship or a freight train and it takes a long time to stop or turn it around. However, I majored in Journalism and minored in Economics and from the Economics side cannot see how Obama’s actions will do anything but take us into a nose dive that we will crash and burn with.

I do listen to Economic experts and professors on ‘both’ sides and still cannot believe Obama’s actions will take us where we need to go. I did list a couple websites – links down below that have some of the best information I’ve seen. The first link you have to scroll down to where the utube video screens are and they are one after the other.

I truly hope that people are stocking up on non-perishable food items and potable water.. I think we are all going to need it.
