What has feminism ever done to champion a masculinist ideal?
Absolutely nothing. That’s because they can’t and they won’t.
It goes against their creed, belief what have you, such as it is against the masculinist creed, belief what have you to help the feminist cause.
Now, the main reason as to why both can’t help each other is because both are enwrapped in their own problems; meaning that there are times you just have to help yourself and never expect others to, cause like I said they have their own problems to sort out..
Is it a double standard to ask for help of the one whom you are fighting against to further your cause? Double triple yes and if you like I will quadruple that yes.

Hello Bald! There is no reason on God's green earth that a feminist should or would help to champion that cause. The issue is not and never has been one of men helping women in any way, shape or form. The issue has always been about how men view women and the laws of the land that would grant equality in the marketplace or wherever it was/is needed. I'm certainly not beyond asking for help if I need it and I'm a very strong and self sufficient woman! If you think that what you have written is the overall point of feminism, then you've done a poor job of informing yourself of the issues. The point is that men have never had to campaign for equality as we have had to do. I'll go one step further and say "White Men" never did because it was built into the fabric and structure of America! All of us, male and female, should champion the rights of all human beings in order to bring about equality.

@Bottom Contrib – Mascul-ists (or masculin-ists as some wrongly put it) are mostly men like most femin-ists are women. Chauvinists can be either sex. Masculism is merely a response to feminism. If feminism disappered then so would masculism.

I think that feminism has given men the chance to be a stay at home father. A father has as much right in the choice of whom should stay home and raise the child as the mother.

you are missing a very vital point in your rant. Feminism is not about championing male issues, though most people think are sympathetic to whatever the msculinist issues are. The issue of feminism is about taking our birth right ie equal treatment. It is not about begging men to relinquish what is ours. So I am not going to go to work and beg to be paid $4.00/hr to say, mow the lawn if that’s what the pay is for lawn mowing. I will ask to be paid the same for the same amount of work. So feminism is not based on grabbing stuff from men, it is based on requiring equal treatment. I can’t refrain from comparing this to civil rights, where the equivalent would be begging my slave masters to free me, begging the govt to let me vote. You imply that what feminists ask for is only obtainable when men decide to be benevolent and out of the goodness of their hearts decide, ‘well ok, since you asked so nicely, maybe i will let you vote, own property, work etc’. That is not the point.
Feminists are like people everywhere, some of us are nice, compassionate, empathic etc while others are not. So the ones who are nice and empathic do consider masculinist issues but then that is why they become masculinists, to champion male issues. A feminist by definition does not champion male issues, they champion issues of females.
