This article will provide information about how to deal with someone who is in pain.

Encouraging words and tips may seem useless to someone who is hurting deeply. In most cases when youshare Christian words of encouragement that particular person may decide not to take into consideration a word of what you are saying.

Regardless of how the person seems to be taking it, positive communication is a necessary healing component. When you share such words it is like a farmer planting a seed. It can take several weeks for you to see the seeds germinating but through unswerving watering and a speck of understanding and fortitude the seed does bring forth its fruits.

Similarly when sharing words of encouragement, do not just give up at the first try even if you don’t see any positive results at first. Don’t stop sharing words of encouragement for Christians if you are dealing with a religious person and don’t think twice about it.

It may be that the person who is hurting is still fresh from the ordeal and needs time to digest everything. Summon all of your strength and patience and help the person the best way you can. Also, you need to keep in mind that people grieve in different ways and the time taken varies – depending on the extent of the pain or disappointment.

I have a friend who lost a loved one and spent two years still mourning and crying everyday before going to bed. One day he told me how the positive things we kept saying to him helped hime to move on eventually. We didn’t know we were making that kind of an impact at the time.

So if you feel like it is useless to keep writing and learning more about how to write words of encouragement keep in mind that it is not in vain. Decide today to keep at it until you know for a fact that the grieving person is over what ever distress and heart ache – this will make you feel valuable and it will cause you to receive goodness from others in due cause.
