There are many different diets out there which try to help people to lose their excess fat, these can be very difficult to follow as the whole reason we are over-weight is because of our love for food. The diets themselves normally recommend us to eat healthy but uninspiring foods. These diets have never really worked for me, mainly because I have possibly not got the right attitude but mainly because I find it hard to stick to them. A month maybe, six months certainly not.

I believe that the reason that I am over-weight is due to the fact that I had a stuttering problem which caused me to comfort eat. I know that this may well seem a little lame but it is my excuse anyway. Stuttering therapy proved pointless and useless and hence my desire to eat lots and lots of food.

In my opinion exercise is the best way to lose weight. I have never really enjoyed visiting the gym possibly due to the fact that I do not feel comfortable there. I always feel that people are looking, talking and laughing at me behind my back. Maybe I am just too paranoid.

I personally would recommend hiring a personal trainer. Now you might think that only the rich and famous could possibly do this but you would be wrong. There are many personal fitness trainers who are either connected to a gym or who advertise locally in newspapers or magazines.

These people will not mess about; they will not listen to all of yoir pathetic excuses. They will put you through your paces to ensure that you make the required effort to lose the weight and to get fit.

You may well have tried to lose weight this way before but without success – do not let this put you off however. The reasons could be due to your relationship with the personal trainer. I have been working with my current personal trainer for around six months now; he is actually the third one that I have hired – the first two were rather rubbish.

Hiring a personal trainer was the best thing I have ever done with regards to losing weight and I would recommend it to other people. I have now lost the beer belly and still continue working hard, it is now more as a fitness thing rather than to lose even more weight. It has also enabled me to have a better focus on business which is in the DVD authoring and budget package holidays industries; I also offer an article submission service on a part time basis. The companies have been going from strength ever since I managed to improve the way in which I lived my life.

The reason you want to convert from islam is because of what ‘they’ say.
I don’t even belief you are for real. But if you really are muslim, and if you really are thinking about converting from islam. You should think it over. You should go and look for the truth yourself. Why do you depend on people? What do they know? Islam is one and all positive, anyone who knows a little about it knows that. Islam teaches PEACE. Islam means peace. And the media and many people try to make it look bad. And some muslims can’t really tell you more then you know. But remember muslims don’t make islam! Look at the religion not those who practice it. A known mistake is better than an unknown truth.

Clairvoyant Powers Is An Ancient Art

The paranormal word ‘clairvoyance’ is one that originated in the French language. In the French language the term ‘clair’ is translated as ‘clear’ and the word ‘voyance’ translates to ‘vision’ and ‘voyant’ means ‘visionary. Therefore, the word ‘clairvoyance’ translates to ‘clear vision’ and a ‘clairvoyant‘ is a person that is a ‘clear visionary.’ It is unfortunate, but this ery literal translation is neither accurate nor helpful.

One thing that further complicates the definition is the fact that the term ‘clairvoyant’ has been used over the years to refer to different things. ‘Clairvoyant’ has gradually been used as a term that applies to an individual that displays various ranges of psychic or paranormal abilities. The definition that accurately sums up what a clairvoyant is a person that is able to know specific thins about a person, location, event, or object with a means other than the five physical sense. In summary, clairvoyance refers to the use of ESP or extra-sensory perception.

Usually clairvoyance involves an individual who has the knowledge of a situation that happens at the moment, but at a distance, out of the range of that individuals physical senses. Cases of individuals (clairvoyants) have been documented with these individuals knowing of situations that have happened in the past or in the future. Some consider clairvoyance to be a form of prophecy or of precognition.

A clairvoyant may receive this knowledge through various channels, but there are six means which are the most common. The most common of all and the one with which clairvoyance is most strongly associated is known as remote viewing. This consists of seeing a person, place or thing beyond the range of their five senses. This could be a vision or a mental image.

The second form is called clairaudience. In clairaudience, the clairvoyant gets their remote event information by sound. They might hear noises or voices that people and recorders are unable to hear. There have been cases where the clairvoyant hears voices of the dead. In this case, the phenomenon could cross the line into mediumship.

The third form or type is called clairsentience. With clairsentience an individual gains their knowledge with feeling and touch. This may include the feeling an object that are not present. This is more of a feeling or ‘vibe’ that a clairvoyant gets from events, locations or people that are out of the clairvoyants visual view.

Clairalience refers to knowledge coming to the clairvoyant in olfactory form. The clairvoyant may smell grass and flowers from a meadow (or anything else) which clues them into the source of the smell. Only the clairvoyant can smell these scents, which come from no obvious source.

Clairgustance is the fifth form or type of clairvoyance. In this form an individual can taste the different flavors, despite the fact there is no apparent sauce and since they have not eaten anything. They are able to describe the flavor that they are tasting even though they are a distance from any source.

Claircognizance is the sixth and the last form of clairvoyance and the most difficult to explain or to define. In this form of clairvoyance the individual has knowledge of a object, location, person or event that is out of their viewing range. They cannot explain where they have gained this knowledge. They just know it. Claircognizance, to some extent, is a catch-all description of clairvoyance.

There have been many documented occurrences of people who are clairvoyant throughout history from different cultures around the globe. Instances of clairvoyance have also been incorporated into some of the world’s most widespread religions.

Buddhists believe clairvoyance to be one of six forms of extrasensory perception which become available to people with advanced meditation training. In Buddhism, this clairvoyance is thought to be in the form of clairsentience, with practitioners able to feel the vibrations emitted by others.

Clairvoyance in Catholicism has been consider a miraculous ability. A disciple of Saint Francis, Saint Claire, had a vision over five hundred years ago. In this vision she witnessed the death of Saint Francis while she was miles away at the time. She was made the Saint of television. The literal meaning of television is seeing over a distance.

There are plenty of people that are skeptical of clairvoyance. It is human nature for people to deny that something exists just because they don’t understand it. Take for example the scientists that not so long ago denied the existence of electricity or magnetism.

Whatever the skeptics say, they haven�t been able to disprove clairvoyance. The increase in evidence shows there exist many genuine clairvoyants in the world. Scientist, parapsychologist, and the public have become more open minded and accept the existence clairvoyance.

Even though we don’t know how this all works, there is absolutely no reason to ignore that the phenomenon exists. There are some people that think all humans had the ability to be clairvoyant in the distant past, but somehow lost their abilities. These same people think that is possible for people regain these talents if they were to make some effort to develop the powers.

Group Therapy and Its Relation to Age

Although psychotherapy attends to a wide variety of methodologies and schools of thought, there are a number of types of therapy which have resulted in remarkable success in the field, and group therapy is rapidly becoming one such therapeutic form. Using a number of  the basic principles employed by modern therapy sessions—i.e cognitive behavioral therapy, group treatments revolves around a similar arrangement of just one counselor with multiple clients. As a result of this method, therapy clients are able to feel more comfortable voicing their fears and doubts whilst benefiting considerably from the views and life experiences of others. The counselor’s role in group therapy is typically to manage sessions and to provide topics and structures, directing the group towards a path to recovery and the improvement of personal well-being. Though group therapy is primarily practiced among adults in a number of areas, it is also becoming a popular choice for therapy options geared towards the young and old.

One of the advantages of Group therapy sessions is that they result in interaction and social contact which is not present with traditional forms of therapy—i.e singular client and counselor methods. Encouraging children to establish healthy and rewarding social skills and allowing them to feel more comfortable and less alienated or “different” during therapy sessions, group therapy for children and young adults can prove to be an invaluable way to reach youth. Older people, as well, can often experience a greater degree of comfortability and a sense of belonging when experiencing therapy in the presence and with the support of others facing identical mental health and life issues.

The benefits of Group therapy can be utilized in addressing a variety of psychological conditions regardless of the age demographic in question. Considering the benefits of group therapy as compared to singular treatment may be a wise choice for individuals who need therapy themselves, or are seeking treatment for some other person.

Can You Communicate Telepathically?

There are many people out there who don’t even accept the idea that people may have the ability to speak to one another telepathically. Even though a lot of people don’t believe in telepathy, it’s something which has had a hold over us for centuries now. There are numerous books and films which feature this ability and many have experimented with telepathic communication over the years.

However, everyone uses telepathy at one time or another. You may have thought you knew exactly what someone was about to say only to have them say just that; you’ve probably also picked up the phone and found that the person you were about to call is already calling you. Sometimes, it’s just a coincidence, but it can’t always be explained so easily.

As far-fetched as it may sound at first, it is possible to communicate telepathically at will. All of us have this ability naturally, though it usually atrophies through disuse as we age.

However, it is entirely possible to relearn to use your telepathic abilities if you’re willing to put in the necessary time and effort. You can learn to do this on your own, though most people find it easier to do with an experienced guide.

If you are interested in learning how to communicate with someone telepathically, you first have to learn how to focus on something like this. Also, having someone to practice with is important. If you don’t have someone to work with, it is difficult to know whether you are making any progress.

Best of all is to practice with someone you know very well who is interested in learning to use their own telepathy. When you work with someone who is not trying to learn themselves, it can do more harm than good. A person you’re already close to and have experience communicating with makes learning to “talk” telepathically all that much easier to do.

Start small at first. One person should be trying to “send” messages, and the other should be trying to receive them. Learning to use your natural ability to communicate telepathically takes time and patience; if you expect it to happen in a day, you’ll be setting yourself up for disappointment. This is something which needs to be brought to the surface – and once you’re able to access this part of your mind, it will take time to learn to control it. Patience and practice are key.

In a way, it’s like learning a second language. At first, it seems as if you’ll never master it and it’s easy to become frustrated but with time and dedication, it eventually becomes a natural means of expression as you gain fluency. When you have a friend to practice with, you can provide each other the support and encouragement you need to stick with it.

During your learning sessions, try to end on a good note. This will keep you motivated for the next one. If you make a lot of good connections telepathically with your partner, stop before you get tired. If you are having trouble making any connections with the other person, don’t just keep trying. Work on it for maybe 15 minutes, and then leave it alone. This way you won’t have a bad memory of it for next time.

With dedication, regular practice with a partner and some guidance from others who have managed to use their own ability to communicate telepathically, you can develop your telepathic capacities. The rewards of being able to communicate with and understand others in an entirely new way are well worth the effort involved in learning to use this natural mental ability.

I know some older songs that were used when I was a kid for a project very similar. They are probably dated sounding to you though, but the lyrics and the content are positive and happy in many ways.

They are both by the rock group Triumph (old Canadian band) They were such great group.

Stuttering And Stammering Speech Therapy Courses

Over the last few years the popularity of specialised communication courses for stuttering has increased in a big way. The courses are normally held over a five-day period however there are also a two and three day option available. The courses themselves are run by a person who knows all about the subject of stammering and stuttering due to the fact that he had this type of speech impediment for eighteen years of his life before managing to achieve fluency when he was aged twenty-two.

These “stuttering courses” are held in the UK, in the second largest city of Birmingham. The How to Stop Stuttering Centre has been offering these speech courses since 1996 and Steve Hill who runs them has regularly been featured within the media during that time including a front page appearance on the much respected Daily Telegraph.

Steve has also produced a number of self-help products for the people who are not able to attend a stuttering speech course in England. These include a stuttering therapy audio book, a stuttering therapy DVD and a stuttering therapy e-book.

Steve has recently developed the “stuttering treatments via Skype”. Here people are able to receive therapy whilst watching Steve Hill on their computer screens. This abilty to watch the speech coach describe and demonstrate the techniques is of great benefit in speech pathology.

So what about the feedback for such a course? Well thus far the feedback has been extremely positive hence why there is such a demand for these types of specialist stuttering therapy courses.

A two day weekend speech course has recently been added to the list of therapy options that are available.

To achieve fluency I realised that I needed to start thinking in a much more positive manner; out went the negativity and in came a whole new “I can do it” approach. This really is the only way to go and I only regret that I did not realise this a whole lot earlier.

Lucid Dreamers And Other People

Wouldn�t it be nice to have a lucid dream, to be aware you are dreaming and control what happens? Of course you do, but how does one learn to do this?

You need to know why it is that you want to be a lucid dreamer. Are there benefits to be gained through lucid dreaming? There are, but to understand them we should first start by examining normal sleep.

What is different about lucid dreaming? Normally, you lay down and you’re out for six to eight hours. Maybe you remember your dreams, maybe not. The usual � not all that interesting, really.

The sleep we normally have fulfills the purpose of allowing us to rest up for the next day.However, what would it be like if you were able to control your dreams? Instead of being a spectator to your dreams, what if you could be an active participant?

What if you could control your dream rather than the other way around? A lucid dreamer is someone who can do exactly that; someone who is not a passenger but a driver of their dreams.

Are you are ready to begin but remain unsure of how any of this is possible? That is ok we are getting there, there are two way to enter lucid dream state. The first is a dream initiated lucid dream, (DILD). This happens once you have already begun to dream and during the dream, you come to the realization that you are indeed dreaming. At this point, you have brought an element of control to the dream because your conscious mind is now involved.

WILD refers to a wake initiated lucid dream. You slip into a dream before you are fully asleep. Instead of going to sleep before you dream you simply enter into the dream with your mind still conscious.

So how are these types of lucid dreaming induced?

Remember your dreams.

If you want to become a lucid dreamer, one of the easiest ways is to begin by learning dream recall. Dream recall is nothing more than being able to remember your dreams. Learning to remember you dreams makes it easier for you to recognize that you are in a dream while sleeping � you are more than likely to either have the same dream more than once, or at least have elements which recur in your dreams.

Writing down everything you can recall dreaming, this is called keeping a dream journal. The more you do this the more likely you will be to remember your dreams. If possible do this as soon as you wake up as this is the time when you will remember the most about your dreams.

Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams (MILD)

Dr Steven LaBerge is a leading scientist who studies lucid dreaming. He was the founder of MILD. This method involves telling yourself you will remember your dreams or perhaps an object in the dream. When you see the object while dreaming it will trigger your mind into knowing you are in a dream.

Wake-Back-to-Bed (WBTB)

To use the wake back to bed method you need do little initially beyond setting your clock to wake you up. Set your clock for about five hours sleep give or take an hour, once the alarm goes off get up and do something. Read a book, your dream journal anything but going back to sleep, after approximately an hour you may go back to bed. In studies done this method has 60% of the time. When you are interrupted in the middle of sleep, you are interrupting rapid eye movement sleep. This is the time when dreams are the most active. Therefore, you stop in the middle of your best dreamtime only to return to sleep a short time later, improving your chances of entering lucid dream state.

Cycle Adjustment Technique

As the name suggests this technique is all about cycling your sleep. Go to bed at your normal time but for a week set an alarm to wake you one and a half hours early. You should continue to do this for around 7 days. Once your body has settled somewhat into this routine, begin to alternate your wake up times. One day normal, wake up time the next early, on your normal days you will be trying to wake up early and should increase lucid dream chances.

Let’s get back to this method which is described above. To achieve lucid dreaming, the technique is to try to keep mentally aware even as your body relaxes into a sleep state.Think of it this way � you are getting ready to watch a movie; your closed eyelids are like the black screen before the movie begins and you are waiting for the trailers to roll.

First, it was cds and DVD�s now we have devices that will help you lucid dream. Masks and other electronic apparatuses can be used to recognize REM sleep and give you a light buzz or light to make you aware that you are dreaming. If you want to increase, your chances of success use the method that has proven to be the best. Using a set of headphones listen to binaural beats at the right sound frequencies during sleep.

There are also technological innovations which can help to induce lucid dreaming, among them strobe lights and dreaming masks.

However, the most reliable method of all is to listen to binaural sound frequencies (also called binaural beats) on headphones.

Binaural beats induce lucid dreaming by causing the hemispheres of your brain to work synchronously, making your brainwaves shift to the frequency required for lucid dreaming.

With a combination of self affirmations, self hypnosis and binaural sounds, being a lucid dreamer is something anyone can do successfully.
