Today I am a happy person, I am proud and I am content. Why? Well because I have managed to turn my life around. The days when I stress, worry and become depressed over the slightest thing are over. I now live life with a smile on my face and am very much looking forward to the future. With the contents of this article I will be describing my journey to happiness and hope that it will prove to be an inspiration to other people out there.

Besides my nervous way of speaking (I had a speech impediment commonly referred to as stuttering), the following areas of confidence coaching were of interest to me:

I had, for whatever reason, a lack of belief at the workplace

For whatever reason I was a person who believed that he would fail every task that he was set

I wanted to become far more assertive

I would often get dragged down by negative comments

I was paranoid (at least a subtle feeling) that people don’t like me

I used to walk around as if the world owed me something and would often feel
very sorry for myself

I wanted to be able to speak with authority and presence

I wanted to see fear and anxiety as a challenge and not as a prison cell

I wanted to learn to be self-assured and to be able to feel comfortable in any place, anytime

I wanted to be able to talk to anyone, at anytime and feel completely in control and natural

As you can see I wanted quite a lot! By reading literature about how to gain confidence, how to increase self-confidence and about how to become a success helped me, in some degree, with all of the above. I realised that I needed to be a lot more care-free, I needed to stop worrying about what other people thought of me and I needed to appreciate what I had in life. Only by doing this will I ever have any chance of becoming a success.

I am now a lot more confident and proficient in my business life which is in the catering supplies UK sector. It is a good place to be – happy at work and happy at home.

5 Tips On Self-Motivation For Effective Personal Transformation

August 31, 2009 by admin

Growing as a person requires us to adopt healthier habits, drop old ones and change ourselves to be more efficient, effective and healthy individuals. But old habits die hard, and new ones don’t stick so easily. Here are 5 tips on how you can keep yourself motivated while on your journey of personal growth.

1. Break-it-down!
Dreaming is good… and it’s all right if you want to dream really, really big. But breaking down that huge goal into small and easy-to-achieve increments can actually help you get there in the long run. When you walk a long and unplanned route without rest stops, it is so much easier to deviate or consider giving into those voices in your head.

2. Reward yourself
It sounds counter-beneficial, rewarding yourself before you've even reached your destination. But all these little steps are actually taking you there! So celebrate, even for the smallest of your victories. Set specific rewards for small and big achievements and make sure not to scrimp on your happiness and glee each time you meet one of them. You’ll find that enjoying these processes along the way boost your morale and determination to reach that final destination.

3. One at a time
It is crucial to remain focused. Most of us try to overhaul our lives in a week… and find ourselves reverting to old ways in mere days! Major overhauls rarely ever work and often dilute your focus. So drop nonessential plans, and focus on the one that matters the most right now. Do everything you have to do to make that change, and set a reasonable timeline - whether it's 30 days or 60 days. This helps you create new habits effectively and lowers the chances of you reverting to old ways.

4. Immerse yourself
Read up on it, listen to audios, watch videos, go for seminars, talk to your friends — immerse yourself in whatever you want to achieve. Not only does it help in keeping you focused for the end goal, it also educates you on your path, your mission and what you need to do to get you there. Most importantly, being able to relate to people with a similar journey provides you with a support system that will help keep you in check and motivate you when times get tough.

5. See it, to believe it.
Most of us are highly visual. Seeing it only in our minds, or in words on paper is much less effective in actually seeing a physical picture of our goals. Get a cork board and place all your goals on them in picture form, or short reminder words that can help you stay on track. Place this board where you will see it, and see it often – whether it’s in your study, the wall across from your bed or at your workplace. Or even better, digitize it and make it your desktop wallpaper. Personal growth is so much more enjoyable and effective when you can actively envision your goals and their rewards on a daily basis without too much hassle.

Do you have to make positive thinking a habit?

August 31, 2009 by admin

I find sometimes it’s difficult not to give in to negative thoughts and feelings. It’s almost like I have to struggle and force myself to think positively. Sometimes negative thoughts about past mistakes take over my thinking and make everything seem more gloomy. Have you dealt with this yourself or do you know someone who deals with this?

Yes it does take practice to change the pattern of negative thinking into positive. It sounds like you are doing things right though – you recognise when you are thinking negatively and you conciously replace those thoughts with positive ones. Dont worry , it does get easier , it becomes completely natural. The hardest part is breaking the habit of negative thinking – which you are going through now.
If past mistakes are making this hard for you, try looking at the mistakes differently – what good things came from those mistakes? did you learn something about yourself? did those mistakes make you stronger? did other oportunities pop up that might not have if you had not made those mistakes?
For starters – it seems that some of these ‘mistakes’ may have made you aware of your negative thinking patterns, and the need to change them – that in itself is a little gem of wisdom you have gained from those experiences.
Inspirational quotes can be very helpful while going through the shift from negative to positve thinking.
All the best.

Self Motivation.

How Eating Disorders Effect Men

August 30, 2009 by admin

Eating disorders are infamous among the female population but recent studies show that males are up on the run as well. A recent study confirmed that male eating disorders may be on the rise in athletes who progressively strive to sustain flawless body weight and shape to help them in their performance.

Maybe it is bias that has got us to point fingers at women all the time when it comes to eating disorders. After all, it is a woman’s body that is centre of attention at all times in comparison to men. So with the latest statistics in hand, which shows that about 10% of anorexic patients are males, I wonder whether we have overlooked the consequenses of eating disorders for obvious grounds. Then, check out the Chyrsler Crossfire windscreen windblocker wind restrictor wind deflector windstop.

Gender prejudice, of course, plays a major role in here as in any other situation. If you are male and if you were to meet up with a doctor to talk about your new habits and potential male eating disorder symptoms, you will be mostly likey to be told to be relaxed and take things easy and will not be diagnosed as anorexic or bulimic. Then, check out the Chyrsler Crossfire windscreen windblocker wind restrictor wind deflector windstop.

In some cultures, the core values and beliefs won’t allow to think that there are males with eating disorders. In some cultures, male grooming habits are not considered key and worse, the cultural assumption will give the idea that if a male is concerned about his appearance, body image etc. he lacks male qualities. This is especially true when it comes to South East Asian cultures. Under these conditions, even if somebody suffering from male eating disorder will be unwilling to come forward and voice his views or meet up with a physician to get on a discreet medical plan. Then, check out the Chyrsler Crossfire windscreen windblocker wind restrictor wind deflector windstop.

Similar, certain jobs too put people at risk of male eating disorders. This is especially true of sportsmen such as horse riders, athletes; professional dancers and of course models.
For some men, losing weight may be a essential due to various reasons, but when it comes to putting it in to action, they will be afraid to share their experiences with others. For e.g. if John is a professional dancer and if he wants to lose weight instantly, it is unlikely that he admits to his girlfriend that he needs to be on a diet. Therefore, without settling down for a systematic diet he will starve himself as he pleases until he loses weight. So the bottm line is that the danger faced by the male population due to male eating disorders is more than what it visible on the surface!

Government will endorse the efforts of our legendary professionals! Encouraging technicians will surely heighten their self-esteem to achieve more!

Government wants to treat each and every solitary inhabitant according to latest news. It seems fame that we have achieved this year in all the fields, which brought hugemassive accolades and laurels to our nation, has made government glad and contented enough to reward all of us this year. This New Year, government has decided not only to increase up the pay scales of all the professionals but also to reward some of the finest works that brought glory to our country. These rewards will be decided for all the categories comprising electronics, architecture, plumbing, and not to forget roofing as well. The wonders done by our professionals are worth appreciation and acknowledgement. This step of government will definitely be awarding these stars and heroes for their inputs but at the same time will also be a great support for all. This year the area of electronics has brought majority number of accoladesto our country. The work done by our Pinellas Park electricians(Need one?click here!) has gained name and fame worldwide. The excellent among them includes the novel circuits made by them that will save electricity and are shock resistant as well. This circuit is based on the phenomena of reducing the resistance in wires that will permit more and more smooth flow of current and will hence give more output for particular input. Subsequent to the field of Electronics, comes the field of plumbing. Our Kennesaw Plumbers too have worked a lot to achieve brilliance in their field. With a proper amalgamation of the inventiveness and hard work, the beauty they have shaped in the form of scenic fountains and artificial water falls, is plausible. The synthetic beauty they created is immortal and matchless. Even Burnsville roofers(Need one?click here!) have excelled in their area and with their hard work they have revealed that even they are a part of the race and thus, don’t want to lack behind. Some roofers too would be rewarded this year in the category of innovative minds.

Mother Teresa: An Icon in Humanitarianism

August 29, 2009 by admin

There are some obscure pieces of Mother Teresa trivia which may not be known to most of the population, such as what her real name was (it was Agnese Gonxhe Bojaxhlu), but there are many things known about this famous nun to the population at large. The fact that she was a major humanitarian, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, and an inspiration to millions worldwide is common knowledge, but there are many more obscure facts about this Albanian nun that might arise in the course of a Mother Teresa Quiz.

For example, did you know why Mother Teresa chose the name, Teresa? Many Roman Catholic nuns forswear their birth names to take names with religious meanings after they complete their novitiate and swear vows as a nun. It was an interest in the work of the missionaries in stories she heard in her early years that first led her to the service of God, and so she took the name Teresa after Therese de Lisieux: Patron Saint of Missionaries. This is an interesting Mother Teresa quiz point that many may not know.

It was in Calcutta that Mother Teresa found her calling, founding her Missionaries of Charity which was aimed at caring for those in need.  Mother Teresa Trivia often concerns this organization because it represents a large portion of her legacy. It has grown from 13 members to a worldwide organization that has more than 4000 nuns working in its various incarnations around the globe.

To gain a better understanding of the scope of her missions around the globe, you need to realize that what began in the fifties as a single mission in Calcutta had grown by the nineteen nineties to an organization that included 517 missions in over 100 countries. Mother Teresa herself was active in many of them, as well as traveling the world to aid where she could when there were victims from major disasters or war. This included her aid of victims of Chernobyl and her involvement in the Siege of Beirut in 1982, which included her help in negotiating a stop to the violence that was long enough for her people to rescue 37 children from a hospital.

The list of awards and accolades bestowed upon this humble nun is large, and includes many of the most important awards possible to receive in India, including the Padma Shri, the Jawaharlal Nehru, and the Bharat Ratna, the most prestigious award that a civilian can receive in that country.
